Invisible Child, the dance/play written by Lisa and performed by Lisa and dancers, has received rave reviews this year.

It is the story of Ginger, a woman who struggles to listen to her inner voice. She wants so much to be accepted by her mother and the outside world, that she leaves her dream of becoming a painter to become an attorney. Through a variety of characters we see how unhappy Ginger is and what has led to this state of being. In a moment of epiphany, she realizes that she cannot live her life according to others, nor will she allow abuses directed towards her. She decides that she must be true to herself and follow her dreams. Modern dance and music express Ginger's alter ego and inner conflict as it is intertwined with the monologues. Through laughter and tears the characters, music, and dance create thought provoking theater. This wonderful, moving piece of theater can be seen again this summer:

Lisa has been cast in the starring role of the Off-Broadway revival of William Gibson's outstanding play, Two For the Seesaw.

This is an emotionally gritty story about two disparate people who fall into a doomed love affair. Gittel is a New Yorker from the Bronx, with little education, and a failing dream of becoming a modern dancer. She's lonely and struggling, as she does not know how to pursue her career or her personal life. Jerry, is a highly educated lawyer from Nebraska. He has recently escaped to New York City for get away from his wife's infidelity. Heartbroken and isolated, Jerry meets Gittel.
Throughout the play, we see these two people from vastly different worlds fall in love. Although there is clearly caring, compatibility, and fun in their relationship, something is very amiss- Jerry still loves his estranged wife. The emotional battle that ensues between them is both heartwarming and disturbing. Watch for this stunning play Spring of 2005.

Lisa has been cast in a principal role in the film - In The Wake of Identity.
